Cheyney and Lincoln are two of the nations oldest Historically Black Colleges and Universities and based in the Southeastern Pennsylvania area. The Kappa Chapters at Lincoln (Epsilon, The Star of the East) and Cheyney (Gamma Omega) have produced many prominent brothers within Kappa and the Philadelphia community. The Philadelphia Alumni of Kappa Alpha Psi were the host chapter for the 84th Grand Chapter Meeting and Conclave, the fraternity’s biennial international conference and money was raised from social events during this event and a special donation from 84th Grand Chapter Meeting and Conclave Local Host Committee Chairman & Cheyney Graduate Samuel Patterson.
