The Philadelphia Alumni had a successful sock drive on Saturday, November 15, 2020 at The Achievement Center. Brothers Troy Smith, Social Action Chair coordinated with Brother Roberts to solicit donations of new socks for the Men’s Shelter on North Broad Street, between Lehigh and Cumberland.

Fresh socks are surprisingly hard to come by in homeless shelters. They are an item that provide a level of comfort and cleanliness to individuals. Understandably, Socks are a particularly important donation in the winter time.

Over three boxes of new socks were donated and personally delivered by Polemarch Damian S. Jackson, Esq. View pictures of the chapter collecting socks.
