The Philadelphia Alumni of Kappa Alpha Psi assembled at John B Kelly Elementary School in the Germantown section of Philadelphia to support the children returning to school on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 @ 8:30am.” to embody the idea that “Each generation is responsible for the next”.
For 30 minutes, while students enter the building brothers in Kappa Gear cheered them on as they returned to school for the 2021-22 school year.
John B. Kelly Assistant Principal Brother Ricky Clark, thanked “all the Brothers that were available […] to come out to clap and cheer our students in during our first day of school admission into the John B. Kelly Elementary School. It was a great showing of black men supporting our community where we’re strongly needed”
